The BYRD Meadowlark 2 knife features a new G-10 handle. It has a high-performance 8Cr13MoV blade with a fully flat surface. Shaped like a “comet,” the hole in the blade symbolizes quality and precise manufacturing tolerances. On the back of the blade is a pattern of crisscrossed hatching, called “jumping,” which improves the thumb’s grip on the upper part of the blade. Offered for the first time with a four-way clip, it attaches to a pants pocket, where the knife sits deep and secure. The grip has been improved with the ergonomic G-10 handle, adding comfort and control. The center-mounted rear lock features a recessed notch-a safety feature that allows the handle to be gripped firmly without accidentally releasing the lock.
