TIt features a compact, sturdy Drop Point blade made of 440 steel, with a titanium coating that provides excellent corrosion resistance and three times the hardness of untreated steel. This treatment also ensures exceptional edge retention in countless applications, unlike most metals used for knife blades. Furthermore, 440 steel on its own offers a great balance between all the aforementioned elements, and with the added titanium coating, there are very few knives that can meet Camillus’s quality standards. The handle is made of Micarta (layers of fabric impregnated with resin, then heavily compressed and baked). This makes the handle impervious to moisture or liquids and physically stable under rapidly changing environmental conditions. The knife features a secure lock Lock Back and a lifetime warranty.
