The CIVIVI Amaroq Nitro-V knife is a comfortable, karambit-style tactical pocket knife. It was designed by Tony Saint-Manat, a Marine Corps veteran and former SWAT operator from Miami, Florida. He is known for his exceptional knowledge and experience in tactical situations. The Amaroq is a compact and versatile pocket knife that combines the control of a karambit with the practicality of an EDC knife. The knife features a lanyard hole for added grip and a versatile hook-style blade. It can be opened in two ways: via a flipper or a “wave open” mechanism. This, combined with a smooth push-button lock, makes this EDC knife fast, functional, and ready for any task. The blade is made of German Nitro-V steel. This is a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. Nitro-V is also quite durable and holds its edge well. The blade has a black finish. To achieve this finish, the blade is first coated, then tumbled in a drum with abrasive beads. This makes the blade look as if it has been on the market for some time, much like a pair of worn-in jeans. A major advantage is that signs of wear will be much less noticeable.
