Released in early 2021, the original was a tanto beast that didn’t just get the job done-it stood out. In almost every way. Hot on its heels was the Drop Point edition, which truly had no flaws. An improved blade compared to the Tanto, better suited for your everyday tasks, it turned the Brazen into a true force to be reckoned with. And it’s among CIVIVI’s best linear-lock models. A few years later, and after our own David K. Anderson repeatedly insisted on a secure one-finger lock (which is appreciated but not mandatory), the Brazen is CIVIVI’s next masterpiece, featuring a push-button lock mechanism. If you haven’t tried the Brazen yet, now is the time. This knife is fantastic.
