The CIVIVI ExOne Nitro-V Micarta knife is a pocket knife for everyday use. The ExOne was designed by Brian Brown, a designer who previously collaborated with parent brand WE Knife on the Trogon. The ExOne features a Wharncliffe-style blade shape, which is excellent for opening packages or performing very precise cutting tasks thanks to its straight edge. The handle consists of steel liners with Micarta scales. Micarta is a composite material made of flax and synthetic resin. It looks incredible and offers a solid grip. Nitro-V is a relatively new type of steel. All you need to know is that this steel is stainless and sharpens easily. Nitro-V is also quite durable and holds its edge well. It’s a great steel for a knife in this price range.
