The CIVIVI RS71 knife is a beautiful pocket knife with a spear-like shape, designed by Robert Saniscalchi of R.S. Knifeworks. The RS71’s symmetrical, stylish design is reminiscent of a dagger blade or the design of a classic sports car. The knife is packed with the design features Robert Saniscalchi is known for, such as the grooves in the blade and handle. The blade is made of German Nitro-V steel. This stainless steel is easy to sharpen. Nitro-V is also quite durable and holds its edge well. It’s an excellent steel for a knife in this price range. You open the blade with the flipper, after which the sturdy locking mechanism secures it in place. The handle is made of steel strips with G10 inlays. G10 is a strong, lightweight material made of fiberglass and synthetic resin. The vertical grooves provide excellent grip. A great detail is the titanium pocket clip, which is milled from a single piece of metal.
