The Extrema Ratio Panthera knife is inspired by the Extrema Ratio T-Razor: a great razor-style pocket knife, which is where the knife gets its name. What sets the Panthera apart is its use of a Wharncliffe blade shape. It’s ideal for opening packages or cutting ropes. The blade has a flat bevel, just like a razor, and opens with a front flipper. When open, the liner lock holds the blade in place. The blade is made of Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long-lasting sharpness that is also used for surgical instruments. N690 is very durable and can be sharpened to a razor-sharp edge. The handle is made of anodized Anticorodal aluminum, which is lightweight and sturdy; during the anodizing process, an additional layer is applied to the aluminum, making the handle even more resistant to wear and tear.
