The Fallkniven U1eyc folding knife Elforyn is unique, combining modern steel technology with a century-old folding knife design; the U1 has no blade lock. Instead, the blade is held in place by a spring steel lock-a technique that has been used for over 100 years and ensures that the blade will not fold. The blade is made of Swedish Elmax powder steel, which ensures superior edge retention. The handle is made of stainless steel with sides in beautiful Elforyn (ivory-look); the knife is completely symmetrical and is easy to handle for both left- and right-handed users.
