The Fox EL CAPITAN D2 G10 knife is a large pocket knife designed by Tommaso Rumici. It is a special collaboration between Fox Knives and Summit Knife Co. The name El Capitan comes from the famous and notorious granite monolith in Yosemite National Park, California. This mountain face features perhaps the most famous rock-climbing routes in the world: over 900 meters up. Quite the climb, fitting for such a massive knife. At first glance, you might even think this is a fixed-blade knife. El Capitan is a highly capable folding knife. The blade is made of D2 steel, which is more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel but not completely stainless. So be sure to clean the blade after use. The handle is made of G10, providing a secure and comfortable grip when using the knife.
