The Fox ZIGGY N690Co Ziricote Wood knife is based on a collaborative design between Fox and custom knife maker Jens Anso. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, opens with a flipper, and locks with a sturdy Liner Lock mechanism. The handle is made of exotic Ziricote wood, often used for the pommels of custom knives. Ziricote is becoming a popular material for many applications, primarily for elegant furniture, musical instrument necks, and knife handles. Ziricote is very expensive. Its high price is due not only to its exotic origin but also to the difficulty of working with the wood.
