Description
The MAM Douro pocket knife with blade lock is a convenient pocket knife with a pointed blade. The knife is named after the Douro River in Portugal. As with all MAM knives, the blade opens with a thumb slot. The Douro’s handle is slightly thicker in the middle and at the ends, so it feels comfortable in the hand. The handle of this knife is made of beech wood. Beech is a natural product, which makes each knife unique. A silver-colored aluminum ferrule holds the blade and handle together. This knife features a “clip point” blade with a thin titanium coating and an authentic Liner Lock system. This locking mechanism consists of a curved piece of stainless steel. This piece of steel is beautifully integrated into the handle. The Liner Lock locking system has a simple curve that makes it very easy to operate.
