The MAM Sportive pocket knife with blade lock is a beautiful pocket knife with a “Bowie” blade shape. This blade shape is not commonly found in pocket knives. As with all MAM knives, the blade opens using the thumb slot. The beechwood handle features two finger grooves, so the knife feels great in the hand. Beechwood is a natural product, which makes each knife unique. The silver aluminum ferrule holds the blade and handle together. This knife features a “clip point” blade with a thin titanium coating and an authentic Liner Lock locking system. This locking system is formed from a curved piece of stainless steel. This piece of steel is beautifully integrated into the handle. The Liner Lock system has a simple curve that makes it very easy to operate.
