Description
The Opinel No. 7 Junior knife is manufactured by the French company Opinel, which has a 120-year history and has become a symbol of French culture and traditions. The first Opinel was created in 1890 by Joseph Opinel, who was 18 years old at the time and worked in his family’s cutlery workshop. The knife quickly gained popularity among local farmers, ranchers, and vineyard workers thanks to its lightness and durability. This popularity soon spread beyond the borders of the Savoie region and, today, beyond France as well. The Opinel No. 7 Junior features an 8 cm stainless steel blade with a rounded tip and a synthetic, embossed handle. This knife is equipped with the Viroblock system, which locks the blade in both the open and folded positions to ensure safety during use or storage.
