The Spyderco Delica® 4 Lightweight Micro-Melt® PD#1 Black Blade FRN knife is part of the limited-edition Sprint RunTM series of the Delica® 4 Lightweight. It features Micro-Melt PD#1 from Carpenter® Technology, a cold-work steel that air-hardens and is specially engineered to provide both exceptional wear resistance and strength. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metallurgy process, which ensures an ultra-fine, exceptionally homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel forms the basis of this knife’s fully flat-ground PlainEdgeTM blade. To make this elite Delica 4 Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is coated with a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, and its handle is made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon (FRN) and injection-molded in a rich burgundy color. In keeping with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, the four-position pocket clip, lock, and handle trim also feature durable black finishes.
