The Vosteed Ankylo Vanchor Lock 154CM Aluminum Knife is our first knife design featuring the innovative Vanchor locking mechanism. This “2-in-1” system combines a hinge and a button, allowing the knife to close seamlessly and effortlessly. The Vanchor lock integrates a magnetic connector and a sturdy locking plate that work together to provide both stability and reinforcement. Furthermore, the lock’s design ensures that the hinge/button remains recessed regardless of how the lock is engaged, for smooth operation and an elegant appearance. The Ankylo features an 81 mm 154CM blade. 154CM steel is known for its well-balanced composition, which ensures that the blade retains its performance and sharp edge over a long period of time-offering high performance and low maintenance-the best of both worlds! The handles are made of aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum. They offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. We conducted numerous tests to find the most comfortable handle shape for you. To take ergonomics to the next level, all corners of the handle are CNC-machined with a double bevel. The reversible clip allows both right- and left-handed users to use the knife. It also comes with a plate that can cover the side without the clip. This additional feature enhances the aesthetics and acts as a protective barrier against dirt, dust, or other contaminants.
