The Vosteed Nightshade – Shilin Cutter knife is inspired by the traditional Shilin Cutter and Kukri and is a modern interpretation of these time-honored ethnic designs. It features a curved, flat blade and a wide cutting edge. The specially designed low tip position and the blade’s extra width provide exceptional performance for cutting and carving. The cutting edge slopes downward, creating a negative blade angle that allows the cutting edge to drop away from the user’s index finger, keeping the wrist aligned. This is comfortable when using the knife for extended periods and requires less pressure from the wrist. Made from Nitro-V steel, a type of stainless steel designed specifically for use in the manufacture of high-quality knives. This is a relatively new steel, first introduced in 2017, and it is quickly gaining popularity among knife manufacturers and enthusiasts.
