The Vosteed Raccoon – Crossbar Lock 14C28N Micarta knife features an 83-mm blade with a simple geometry. The blade is made of 14C28N steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability in its class, and is easy to sharpen. The blade’s length-to-width ratio of 3 to 1, its nice belly, and comfortable handle make the Raccoon an excellent choice for everyday use. The Raccoon’s crossbar lock is well-integrated into a solid construction. Combined with its dual thumb-release mechanism and well-tuned stop, the Raccoon opens and closes with a silky-smooth motion. The 111mm-long handle offers a solid grip and an excellent blade-to-handle ratio. The well-beveled Micarta makes the handle a pleasure to hold, and the handle shape is comfortable for both a standard grip and a reverse grip. It comes with a double-sided pocket clip, and the clip height has been increased to fit into thicker jeans or pants.
