The blade is made of CPM 20CV steel and has a very sharp edge. The main advantages of this type of steel are that it rarely needs sharpening and is highly corrosion-resistant. When you open the knife, a frame lock-which integrates seamlessly with the knife-holds the blade securely in place. With this knife, you get the convenience of a frame lock with a linear locking mechanism. Therefore, your fingers are always safe when using this knife. If you look at how the blade sits in the handle when the knife is closed, you can really see how much thought has gone into this design. The rear spacer, which houses the blade tip, is slightly offset backward. This creates a comfortable space where the blade tip fits precisely. A major advantage of this detail is that the blade tip is further protected. The handle is made entirely of titanium and features a textured G10 coating, which provides extra grip.
