Kangaroo leather is exceptionally strong and flexible, retaining between 30% and 60% of its strength even when thinned to 20% of its original thickness. This makes it a lightweight and durable material that ensures smooth and effective polishing, making the strop reliable for long-term use. This combination of two different leathers allows you to use the most suitable side depending on your needs when maintaining knives or other bladed tools, while maintaining a balance between effectiveness and durability.
