The rubber feet prevent the stone from slipping and raise it 22.2 mm off the work surface-enough clearance to allow for freedom of movement and comfortable working while sharpening. The sturdy chrome-plated steel rails are corrosion-resistant. Regularly lubricate the moving parts with maintenance oil to ensure smooth operation.
