Spring Set for KMFS Vantaedge Integral

Description

The KMFS Vantaedge Integral Spring Set stabilizes the KMFS Vantaedge integral sharpening set, especially at large sharpening angles. The mounting spring is designed for attaching an angle head or an additional multi-tool head. The spring body is shaped to be self-locking: it is designed to remain in the position to which it has been moved. The adjustable position of this spring lifts the angle head, the guide rods, the stone holder, and the sharpening stone. The stone does not need to be completely over the edge of the blade. It is effective even when the stone is only partially pushed in. This spring is not intended for use on small blades with sharp angles where there is insufficient space to install it. The travel stops are placed on the guide rod, where they limit the upper position to prevent the stone from sliding over the edge of the knife on the blade side while sharpening a wide blade, and the lower limit to prevent the whetstone and stone holder from sliding down off the guide rods.
