The Element Optics IMMERSIVE SERIES 10×40 APR-1C MRAD scope differs from traditional rifle scopes, which have their place in the world of optics, but new technologies allow us to push the boundaries of what’s possible. The Immersive Series offers a range of ultra-compact prismatic rifle scopes with many unique features, including a market-leading field of view that draws you into your surroundings for a better perspective. Unlike conventional riflescopes, which present the image through the eyepiece as floating far in front of you, the image from the Immersive Series riflescope provides significantly improved peripheral awareness, creating the impression that you are immersed in the scene, the optical clarity of ED glass is uncompromised. The 10×40 and 14×50 models feature a short eye relief, which allows for an incredible field of view up to 4 times larger than that of a traditional optical rangefinder at the same magnification. Prismatic binoculars are unconventional, and while the Immersive Optics 10×40 is shorter than usual, it is also wider than usual, which requires the use of a correspondingly unconventional mounting system, included in the kit. The Immersive Optics comes with an additional mounting base for a wider range of eye relief adjustment, which many shooters will appreciate. A rubber eyecup blocks peripheral light from interfering with the field of view. This scope features a red-illuminated reticle with six brightness levels. The control is located on the side parallax turret; a single press of the button activates the IR function. Subsequent presses will cycle through the different brightness levels, and a long press will turn the function off completely. Immersive Optics is a complete optical system that achieves its goal of providing a wider-than-normal field of view in a lighter and shorter design.
