Description

The Xtar Technology VC4SL charger for lithium-ion batteries is a compact, 4-channel smart charger for all popular types of lithium-ion (ICR, IMR, INR) and NiMH batteries, featuring several new functions. The Xtar VC4SL has a special function for activating protected Li-Ion batteries that read 0V, allowing you to revive a battery you would otherwise have written off. The device is powered via a micro USB connector and features a combined analog-digital display, which displays the charging current and shows the current charge level and the time remaining until the battery is fully charged both graphically and as text. The Xtar VC4SL charges Li-ion batteries using the optimal algorithm for this type of battery: CC/CV (Constant Current/Constant Voltage) with a soft start, while NiMH/NiCd batteries are charged with constant current in pulse mode, with voltage and current monitoring. The charging current depends on the number of batteries being charged simultaneously: 0.25A, 0.5A, or 1A for 4 sockets / 2A for 2 sockets / 3A for 1 socket
