Description
The Helikon-Tex SIGNAL MIRROR is a small survival mirror designed so that you can direct the sunlight it reflects over long distances. Reflecting light over short distances is easy, as long as you can see it on a tree or a wall. At long distances, a regular mirror cannot achieve such precision. The Signal Mirror has a special aperture that acts as a collimator. This allows you to direct the reflected light over greater distances. In an emergency, you can signal for help with an SOS signal by aiming it at a ship or airplane. Its visibility depends on sunlight, weather, and terrain, but under good conditions, the reflected light can be seen from a distance of several kilometers. The back of the Signal Mirror features instructions and an emergency compass button, making it the simplest and most effective survival kit possible.
