HYFIN VENT COMPACT CHEST SEAL Sterile Chest Dressing is designed to seal an open chest wound, prevent pulmonary collapse, caused by entry/exit wounds or multiple penetrating chest injuries. The new design of the HyFin Vent Chest Seal features 3 ventilated channels, which prevent airflow into the chest cavity during inhalation while allowing air to escape through the ventilation channels during exhalation. The three ventilation channels allow blood to drain and also provide a backup safety system, since even if two of the three channels are blocked, the ventilation opening will remain fully functional. Durable with strong adhesive, easy to use, and effective under the most extreme conditions, including on sweaty or hairy patients.
