The Direct Action Dragon Egg MK II Multicam 25L tactical camouflage backpack is suitable for both short patrol duties and a larger EDC setup. The backpack features three zippered compartments. The main compartment has an internal hydration sleeve and a mesh pocket, as well as a central outlet for the hydration tube. The rear pocket has a padded sleeve that can be used to safely carry devices or a laptop up to 15 inches. The front pocket of the Direct Action® Dragon Egg® features a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notebooks, GPS devices, writing utensils, and other small items; two redesigned side pockets can hold small, flat items. The pockets are equipped with elastic gussets to accommodate a standard U.S. canteen or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle. There is also a zippered pocket lined with soft suede for glasses, a cell phone, etc. The backpack also features a webbing strap with a chain that runs along the seam of the front panel for attaching carabiners or similar equipment to the backpack. The laser-cut, MOLLE/PALS-compatible system makes the backpack not only fully modular but also maintains a low profile.
