Description

The Acid Gambit tactical glasses from the American company Edge Eyewear are lightweight glasses that offer full coverage and eye protection, flexible matte frames, and non-mirrored lenses to eliminate glare. The model is rimless at the bottom to avoid restricting the field of view and to allow for easy lens removal and replacement. G-15 lens technology was developed for the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s. Experiments showed that this specific technology, within the visible light spectrum, helps prevent eye fatigue. The lenses feature a Vapor Shield coating that minimizes fogging under various weather conditions. Clear lenses, with their perfect transparency, are excellent for indoor use or in low-light conditions. Vapor Shield anti-fog technology meets even the highest military standards and keeps the plates free of condensation even under the harshest conditions. Clear lenses transmit 85% of visible light. This special Acid Gambit kit includes a black Acid Gambit frame, two different lens options, a hard case, a rubber strap, and a lens cleaning pouch.

Edge Tactical Eyewear has been tested in independent laboratories and meets the following military and civilian certifications: ANSI Z87.1+2015, Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12, and EN166 F CE. All lenses block 99.9% of UVA, UVB, and UVC ultraviolet rays and feature a scratch-resistant coating.
