The Helikon-tex Yukon Winter Jacket is designed for wilderness treks, outdoor use, and expeditions in cold weather. The Yukon winter jacket features a robust insulated layer built to withstand harsh conditions. The core consists of Climashield® Apex insulation (67 g/m2), which retains heat even when wet. The Duracanvas outer layer is more resistant to sparks and is an exceptionally durable material designed for real-world field use. This combination provides you with warmth, protection, and reliability in low temperatures and harsh conditions. Duracanvas is more durable, so it performs better on the job than typical synthetic clothing. You can also wax it for added protection against the elements. We’ve equipped this jacket with features we use and trust-like underarm ventilation zippers that let you quickly release heat when you’re on the move. It also comes with a large, three-point adjustable hood that fits over a hat or a hooded sweatshirt. Inside the pockets, you’ll find paracord loops for securing a compass or other small essentials, as well as MOLLE/PALS webbing along the hem for attaching additional gear.
