Pulling on the end of the pen reveals the refill and transforms it into a writing instrument of normal length. There’s no cap-simply pull the tip out to use it, and push it back in to retract it. It performs reliably in extreme temperatures (-34°C to +120°C), underwater, in zero gravity, and at any angle. The pen’s construction and finish consist of brass and steel. The tip of the refill is a tungsten carbide ball. The pen is compact, so you can easily slip it into a wallet or organizer, and the clip allows you to attach it to the edge of a pocket or backpack. The pen’s ink is thixotropic; it is solid at rest and liquefies when writing. The pen does not skip or leak. It writes up to 3 times longer than regular ink. The refill contains a pressurized nitrogen gas cartridge, in which a small metal cylinder pushes the special ink, which is hermetically sealed, allowing it to write at any angle.
