Description

The DPM Spring for Sig P320 X5 Combat Pistols, 5.0″ Barrel, 9mm/.357SIG/.40SW is a mechanical recoil reduction system and a direct replacement for the recoil spring; it does not alter the pistol’s configuration. This system operates via a multi-spring assembly (three springs) and controls the pistol’s functionality. The third spring contained within the rod controls the slide’s movement so that it never strikes the frame. In addition, this system is accompanied by two separate springs, allowing the owner to fine-tune the firearm to their personal preferences. Three or more springs of varying sizes for specific compression are housed in a metal tube. The purpose of the system is to control the backward movement of the slide at the moment the bullet is fired. The initial pressure exerted by the entire system is nearly the same as that of standard springs. However, in the final phase of the system’s cocking, the pressure exerted on the slide is 80% to 100% greater. Consequently, the slide never strikes the frame, and jams are eliminated.
