Description

The DPM recoil spring for SMITH & WESSON M&P SHIELD 9mm/40s&w combat pistols replaces the standard recoil spring without altering the pistol’s factory configuration. The system operates via a multi-spring assembly (3 springs) and controls the pistol’s functionality. The third spring contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so that it never strikes the frame. Included with the system are 2 separate springs, so the user can adjust the gun to his or her personal preferences. The longer spring (more coils) is sturdier and has a higher recoil rating than the shorter spring.
