The M175 was originally designed to solve its creator’s urgent problem with constantly barking neighbor dogs, which wouldn’t let him get any peace, day or night. It incorporates a powerful ultrasonic generator that emits a continuous, siren-like signal. Thus, the creator’s personal problem led to the development and certification (the device is manufactured in Germany) of a wonderful device that helps many people throughout Europe and America. Since the author himself did not know exactly which frequency would be most effective, he designed the device so that the frequency can be smoothly adjusted by the user via a potentiometer within a wide range -between 8 kHz and 43 kHz.
This has made the M175 a versatile device for the humane repellence and protection against the unwanted presence of all kinds of animals, namely:
– birds are repelled by frequencies up to 12 kHz;
– dogs, cats, wolves, foxes, and squirrels are most effectively repelled by frequencies between 18 and 24 kHz;
– Rodents (mice and rats) are repelled by frequencies above 25 kHz;
– Insects and cockroaches are repelled by frequencies above 35 kHz;
Of course, there is no exact frequency for each species-every animal (as well as humans) has its own individuality and characteristics, and the M175’s ability to smoothly adjust the frequency of the emitted signal makes the device extremely adaptable to any situation and, consequently, highly effective in its application.

The M175 is powered by 12 VDC (stabilized voltage), which can be supplied by any universal 220 VAC/12 VDC adapter (included) or from a 12V car battery. The device is connected to the power supply via a built-in high-quality screw terminal, without the need for a specialized connector. The M175’s power consumption is negligible, but its efficiency is particularly high compared to other equipment on the market.

Please note that frequencies below 20 kHz are audible to humans, so keep this in mind when tuning and aiming the device. You can test the device’s effectiveness on yourself at any time-simply tune it to a frequency you can hear, and it will immediately make you run far away from the radiation range. Of course, this should only be done to test the device and under no circumstances to harm people. The M175 is completely safe for both people and animals-it is a humane alternative to forceful methods of animal deterrence.

The effective range of the M175 is up to 100 meters in front of it; but if it needs to be extended or a higher intensity of the effect is required, the manufacturer has provided the option to connect up to 2 additional passive ultrasonic emitters, model L020 (please see as a separate product). They are connected via a separate cable and the high-quality terminal blocks built into both the device and the additional emitter (the cable is not included in the kit-the user should select the appropriate length and gauge for the situation; power consumption here is negligible; only the mechanical strength of the cable is a factor to consider). The dimensions of the M175 are: 140 x 65 x 37 mm. The M175 features two LED indicators-one for correct power supply voltage and one for sound/ultrasound emitted by the device.
