The H1 knife sheath is made of injection-molded plastic, offering a practical, safe, and durable combination of features that should satisfy all users. The knife can be operated with one hand and is very easy to keep clean. The blade is solid, made of Elmax SuperClean powder-coated steel from Uddeholm, Sweden. This means a stronger blade that retains its sharpness significantly longer. After testing and using this steel for several years, we can conclude that it is a very high-performance and affordable steel. It offers a very good balance between sharpness and durability, yet is still relatively easy to sharpen. The hardness is around 61-62 HRC-a hardness that we believe is ideal for this steel in terms of sharpness and durability.
