To achieve this finish, the blade is first coated, then tumbled in a drum with abrasives. This makes the blade look as if it’s been on the market for a while, sort of like a pair of worn-in jeans. A major advantage is that signs of wear will be much less noticeable. The handle of this Civivi Buster is made of micarta and is 13.9 cm long. Micarta is a wonderful material for pocket knife handles. This material is pleasant to the touch, relatively lightweight, and looks very attractive. It consists of textile fibers and synthetic resin.
