The LionSteel Twain MagnaCut Titanium/Carbon Fiber Grey knife is the 2024 Blade Show Knife of the Year. Designed by the owner and CEO of LionSteel, Gianni Pauletta. The knife features a unique “double integral” construction consisting of a SOLID integral frame. The parts require high-precision milling to ensure a perfect fit, guaranteeing both the quality of the workmanship and the final aesthetic. The Twain’s handle is crafted from a titanium frame with carbon fiber scales, a blade made of MagnaCut steel, and a Button Lock. The titanium pocket clip is deep-carry and keeps the Twain securely tucked away.
CPM Magnacut steel , released in 2021, is one of the newest steels developed for knives, offering high corrosion resistance despite its low chromium content (more resistant than M390).
