The Spyderco Para 3 S45VN G-10 knife incorporates all the proven features and benefits of Spyderco’s best-selling Para Military® 2 and transforms them into an even more compact, versatile cutting tool. Its 74-millimeter blade is precision-crafted from high-quality CPM® S45VNTM stainless steel and features a fully flat grind for an excellent balance between strength, blade utility, and low-friction cutting performance. It features a textured index finger wedge and a thumb ramp that provide a solid foundation for a forward grip, offering improved control during precision cutting tasks. The blade’s signature round hole (Trademark Round HoleTM) proudly identifies it as a member of the Spyderco family and is fully accessible to allow for quick, positive one-handed and two-handed opening. To ensure the Para 3 is slim and comfortable for pocket carry, it features a lightweight, open-back construction, with stainless steel liners set into machined recesses in textured G-10 scales. This provides excellent structural support for the knife’s Compression Lock® mechanism, which securely locks the blade open during use while allowing for easy and safe one-handed closing. The four-position “hourglass” clip and the large lanyard hole complement the design, offering ambidextrous carry with the tip pointing up or down and allowing for easy attachment of lanyards and straps.
