The Spyderco Para 3 CPM 15V G-10 knife is an elite version of the Para® 3, called the Sprint Run®, and boasts a blade made from CPM® 15V® -an exceptional material that offers the highest wear resistance of any cold-work steel available today. Containing nearly 15 percent vanadium, its unique alloy composition creates an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, this translates to breathtaking cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco’s limited-edition CPM 15V knife series has been further enhanced through a specialized heat treatment protocol developed by renowned custom knife maker Sean Houston. This Sprint Run version of the Para 3 truly incorporates all the proven elements of this design, including the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and the four-position pocket clip. To clearly distinguish it as a member of our CPM 15V family, it features brown G-10 scales with a peel-textured finish and Sean Houston’s “Triple B” logo, laser-engraved on the back of the fully flat blade.
