The Spyderco SpyOperaTM Carbon Fiber ThorTM Damascus Carbon Fiber knife features a blade made of martensitic Damascus steel with a ThorTM pattern. Created by the Swedish company Damasteel®, this extraordinary material is produced through a patented powder metallurgy process in which layers of RWL 34 and PMC 27 are fused into state-of-the-art stainless Damascus steel. After the blade is precision-machined and ground to its final shape, it is acid-etched to reveal its intricate layered structure. Equally distinctive is the handle of this knife, which features solid carbon fiber scales, meticulously machined to provide smooth, ergonomic, and crowned surfaces. All other features of this exquisitely crafted knife are consistent with the proven SpyOpera design, including the thoughtfully contoured surfaces on the blade spine and the lock.
