The Vosteed Psyop – Top Liner Lock Elmax Titanium knife is our first collaboration with Geoff Blauvelt (A.K.A. Tuffknives). Simple yet sophisticated in style, unique and ultra-functional, the knife strikes a great balance between its elegant, minimalist aesthetic and its high functionality. True to Geoff’s design concept, the Psyop is filled with surprising little details: the side hinge and bushing are flush with the titanium handle; the 3D-milled titanium pocket clip is secured to the handle with hidden screws. Furthermore, to enhance comfort, the interior of the titanium handles is CNC-milled to reduce weight. Milled from a 4 mm thick Elmax steel blank, it offers excellent wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, and high impact stability. The 3.5 mm-thick blade features both a curved edge for effortless cutting and a pointed tip for precise piercing. Whether you’re cutting open packages, performing similar tasks, or engaging in outdoor activities, the Psyop is up to the challenge. This version features CNC-milled diamond patterns on a well-beveled flat handle. The geometric patterns not only give the Psyop a retro and more traditional look, but also provide additional grip for excellent control over the knife during challenging tasks. The Psyop features a button-operated Top-liner lock that combines intuitive operation, high durability, and a fun fidget experience. The oval-shaped titanium button is easy to access and fits seamlessly with the knife’s overall style. Equipped with a system of ceramic ball bearings, the Psyop can be opened smoothly using either the front flipper or the thumb hole. Once the knife is opened, the flipper blends into the continuous line of the handle to form an elegant, visually pleasing profile.
