Description

The war hammer was perhaps the ideal weapon for use against a knight clad in steel armor

The Cold Steel WAR HAMMER is Cold Steel’s modern interpretation of the War Hammer; it is extremely maneuverable and can be easily wielded with one or two hands. The head is forged from 1055 carbon steel and differentially heat-treated. The spike tip and the face of the hammer are fully hardened so they can pierce and crush hard materials, while the rest of the hammer is forged to be softer -to absorb the shock from heavy blows. The battle hammer’s handle is 76.20 cm long, made of American hickory, and is covered with a pair of sturdy steel ferrules.
