The modular camera insert features movable internal dividers, allowing for customization of the interior space. It provides shock-resistant protection for mirrorless cameras, compact DSLRs without a grip, and lenses, and ensures you won’t carry more than you need. It can be oriented vertically to integrate seamlessly with the side access of the Explore V2 25 backpack. When oriented horizontally, the insert will fit perfectly into any other Shimoda backpack or rolling bag. The insert includes all the popular features of our Core Unit system: EVA-laminated dividers and sturdy side walls, a lightweight, removable, water-resistant zippered cover that protects the module from dirt when not in use, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support to the entire module. The depth of the insert is ideal for mirrorless and DSLR cameras without a grip that are up to 12 cm tall, along with lenses up to 70-200 mm f/2.8.
