The modular camera insert features movable internal dividers, allowing for customization of the interior space. It provides shock-resistant protection for mirrorless and compact DSLR cameras without a grip or lenses, and ensures you won’t carry more than you need. The size fits cameras such as the Fuji X-T4 and Sony a7, but can also accommodate similarly sized cameras like the Canon 5D. It can be placed inside the backpack so that it integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Action X30 and Action X50 models. When oriented horizontally, the module will also fit perfectly in other Shimoda backpack models and wheeled bags. Modular Compatibility-The Medium V2 size gives users the option to combine two inserts in the backpack by adding an extra small insert, providing greater flexibility. For example: you can use just the small insert, just the medium one, or use both together to achieve the capacity of a large modular insert. It includes all the popular features of our Core Unit system: EVA-laminated dividers and sturdy side walls, a lightweight, removable, waterproof zippered cover that protects the module from dirt when not in use, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support to the entire module.
