The Spyderco Military 2 S30V G-10 knife was created by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glasser as the perfect knife for military personnel deployed on missions. The original MilitaryTM model is one of the most iconic designs in the knife industry. More than 25 years after its release, the highly anticipated MilitaryTM 2 builds on this hard-earned reputation by incorporating several significant design improvements. Instead of a LinerLock, the Military 2’s fully flat-ground CPM® S30V® blade is secured by Spyderco’s signature Compression Lock® mechanism, which offers greater strength and even safer one-handed operation. The stainless steel inserts that form the basis of the lock arelarger, which gives the knife greater structural strength and secures its four-position pocket clip, which can be configured for left- or right-handed carry, with the clip facing up or down. The skeletonized liners are set into textured G-10 scales to maintain a slim profile, complement the open-back construction, and reduce the knife’s overall weight. Like its predecessor, the Military 2’s blade features a textured index finger wedge and a thumb ramp that provide a solid foundation for a forward grip, offering improved control during precision cutting tasks. The blade’s signature Round HoleTM proudly proclaims its Spyderco heritage and is fully accessible to allow for quick and secure one-handed and two-handed opening.
